Rose's story

Rose is 36 years old and lives in the community surrounding Airport. She completed 12th grade and has two children, ages three months old and 11 years old; only the older one is in school, and they all live at home.

For the past ten years, she has been selling slippers and used clothes in the local market. she started this business with money given to her by her fiancee, and she learned trading from her friends. She likes how her business makes her independent. She spends ten hours on her business from Monday to Saturday.

She is requesting a loan to purchase more slippers and used clothes for her business. She hope to build her own house. She is glad to be a borrower of BRAC Liberia.
