Ameena's story

Ameena baji is the wife of R. A. and lives in a city named Lahore, Pakistan. Lahore city is famous for its historical places and for its Punjabi food. She has been living in this city for the last 30 year. She lives with her family in a two -room brick house. She is the mother of three daughters. All of her daughters are enrolled in a local school in her neighborhood.

Ameena baji's husband has a business of helmet-selling. Her husband chose this work because in Pakistan it's compulsory to wear a helmet when riding a motor bike. He has been in this business for the last 20 years. Ameena baji is a housewife and prefers to do household work. She successfully repaid her first loan from Asasah (a microfinance institute in Pakistan). Now she is applying for a loan to buy more helmets for her husband's business.
