He is a farmer and has nine years of experience in this industry. He harvests and sells seasonal fruits and vegetables. His monthly income is 160 AZN.

Azerbaijan cuisine is very rich and various. People cook different delicious national dishes using vegetables, such as badimjan dolmasi and yarpagh dolmasi. They use fruits to prepare different kinds of fresh juices and jams. They like to eat jam while drinking tea.

Samir’s income isn’t enough to cover his family’s expenses. He needs to pay for his children's education and utility costs, as well as covering other expenses. He applied for 2,000 AZN loan in order to supply new kinds of fruits and vegetables and to make his green grocery’s assortment wider. He hopes that this will increase his income somehow.
