A loan helped a member to buy stock of fish to resell.

Tukundane Group's story

Evaline is in her late thirties and is a mother of two daughters who are in school. For a period of six years now, Evaline has made a living by running a business selling freshwater fish. She opens her business from 7:00am to 6:00pm per working day and is able to make a very good profit.

This is Evaline's third loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. Evaline managed to pay back all of her previous loans successfully. She used the previous loans to restock her fish for resale. She earned a profit and she used it to cover a portion of school fees and household expenses. With her new request, she will use the loan to buy stock of fish to resell. Evaline dreams that one day she will be able to build a nice house and buy a car.

She wills share this loan with her loan group, "TUKUNDANE", which totals two members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.

In this group: Evaline, Walter
