Kaiyrkul's story

Kaiyrkul is 47 years old, widowed, and after the death of her husband, is raising four children alone. Kaiyrkul has a higher education. For 12 years, she worked as a math teacher at a local school but after the death of her husband, she took up fattening up and reselling cattle. She started this business 15 years ago, with an initial purchase of cattle in the amount of 25,000 som (KGS). Thanks to Kaiyrkul's hard work, she currently has 1 milk cow with a calf, 2 bulls, 2 sheep and 2 goats on her farm. Her monthly income is 17,000 som (KGS). For the purpose of further developing her business, Kaiyrkul turned to Microfinance Bank "Bai Tushum and Partners." She is requesting a loan to buy bulls to fatten up for future resale on the market for a high price. Kaiyrkul plans to invest the earnings from the loan in the further acquisition of livestock. She also intends to save money to pay for her son's tuition.
