A loan helped to purchase more slippers, ladies dresses, and t-shirts.

Zainab's story

This is 32 year-old Zainab. She is married and has 2 children aged 10 and 3 years.

In 1999, Zainab established her business selling jeans, t-shirts, ladies dresses, skirts, and slippers. She began her business to assist her husband with the upbringing of their children. Her business is located in the city center and her customers are both men and women. Her business operates 6 days a week and 11 hours a day.

She would like a loan in the amount of 5,000,000 SLL to buy more of the same stock. With this additional stock, she will grow her business and increase her profit.

The biggest challenges she faces in her business are unexplained customs fees when bringing stock across the border from Guinea.

In the future, Zainab plans to find a better business location. She describes herself as very honest and thanks you for your support.
