Anusaya belongs to a small village in the Angul district, which is located in the forest area of Odisha, India. In the picture, the lady standing with her hand raised is Anusaya.

She is 50 years old and alternates her daily activities with her work in agriculture. She has been in business for years and things have gone well for her because of the hard work she does. Anusaya is responsible and persevering and sells her goods to customers who request them. Her aim is to continue working to get ahead.

Anusaya is requesting a loan to buy fertilizers and seeds for her cropland.

All the members of this "Maa Santoshi SHG" group are women. The other members are involved in the sales of vegetables, food and drink, agricultural services, fruit and vegetable cultivation, and raising small animals.
