A loan of $250 helped to purchase bales of green vegetables, onions, potatoes and tomatoes for resale.

Kamwana's story

Kamwana is married with four school-going children. They live at their own house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.

Kamwana has operated a fruits-and-vegetables stall business for the past one year. She sells from home to her neighbors. She dreams of establishing a mini green grocery in the future.

With the 20,000 Kenyan shillings, she wants to purchase bales of green vegetables, onions, potatoes and tomatoes for resale. She decided to join Yehu to get financial support.
