Tatiana's story

This is Tatiana, age 20. She wants to continue with her assistant nursing studies because she likes this career. She likes helping others, and what better way than with this lovely profession? Also, she has faced various situations where there was a risk of loss of life to the people she loves the most. This also helped drive her to study nursing.

She has a beautiful son who is two years and six months old. She lives with him with her parents and siblings. Her mother’s name is Amparo, and her father’s name is Henry. Her brothers’ names are James and Julián.

One of the reasons that she wants to continue studying is her family, her parents and her son. She wants to buy a house to live in with them. And she wants to be able to provide her son and her parents with a better future.

She and her family have faced various very difficult situations. The first was when her father got sick in 2005. Because of this, a procedure had to be performed. This process took a lot of time. Her father still has serious relapses. The health situation is not the best. Therefore, he has not been able to work for over six months.

Another event that affected her family happened in 2011 when they diagnosed her mother with a very serious illness. With treatment, she has been able to improve, even though she still continues with the treatment in order to improve 100%.

For her parents and for her son, she wants to graduate as an assistant nurse. She wants to be able to help them a little more and to buy her own house. They rent where they now live. She wants to offer her son a much better future and to grow personally and professionally.
