A loan of $775 helped to buy supplies to make and sell food.

Maria Cristina's story

Cristina has been a widow for over eight years. She had to face life alone and struggle daily to provide for her six children. She sells food such as tostadas, tacos, chuchos, atol (corn drink) and other food. As a second business activity she raises chickens. Theses are the sources of income for Cristina to earn enough to cover daily expenses.

Cristina's goal is for her children to get an education and become professionals. Despite being a widow she has always made her loan payments on time without delay. She is requesting this loan to buy supplies to make food.
