A loan of $575 helped to do commerce in improved stoves, solar lamps, and gas stoves.

Lassané's story

Mr. Lassané, a new partner of Nafa Naana for the distribution of energy-saving products (improved stoves, gas stoves, and a variety of solar lamps), has need of financing in the amount of 265,150 francs CFA to start his business. This amount corresponds to the acquisition of a stock of 13 improved stove, 3 gas stoves, and 12 solar lamps.

Lassané is a 45-year-old married father of five. He opened his own hardware store two years ago and wants to include with it the sale of energy-saving products and also to increase his revenues. The additional revenues to be generated from selling Nafa Naana products will enable him to meet family needs, including all his children attending school.

Lassané envisions continuing his partnership with Nafa Naana to achieve his goal of improving his revenues and thus his living conditions. He says he still wants to be an ambassador for environmental protection in his district of Barga, Ouagadougou City, and for enabling people to save money and to save on healthcare costs.
