A loan of $350 helped to pay for additional supplies and merchandise products like clothing, footwear, undergarments and cosmetics needed in her business.

Miriam's story

Miriam is thankful for the financial assistance extended to her, which enabled her to buy more merchandise products needed in her direct selling business. It also helped in her variety store and in her children's education. The income from her business is assisting their everyday household expenditures. She and her husband are working hard to provide for their everyday needs.

She would like to apply for another 15,000 PHP loan to buy additional supplies and merchandise products needed in her business, such as clothing, footwear, undergarments and cosmetics. More items to sell will result in a better profit. The profits from her business help sustain her family’s daily needs and children’s educational expenses. She looks forward to this financial improvement with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

In future, Miriam hopes to be more successful in business. She dreams of giving her children a good life and education. She meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her life and business every week. This is also where she can draw strength and inspiration from the fellowship and Word of God, which she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay Micro Finance loans.
