A loan of $1,425 helped to buy fertilizers and other items for her rice crops.

Geraldine Magalli's story

Geraldine Magalli is 45 years old. She lives together with her husband and their children in the district of Pucará, a warm zone where the majority of the population dedicates themselves to farming, especially to growing rice, fruit, and coffee; as well as selling these products. Many people also raise livestock. This district is located in the province of Jaén, which belongs to the Cajamarca region, in the Sierra Norte of Perú.

Geraldine Magalli works, with the help of her husband, in agriculture. She has rice crops that her family has helped her to take care of for the past 10 years. Geraldine has requested a loan of 4,000 new Soles in order to buy fertilizers and other items to help cultivate her rice. In this way, she will have a good production to offer to her clients, generating more income for her family.
