A loan of $725 helped to buy balanced food to fatten his animals.

Manuel Javier's story

Manuel is 33 years old and lives together with his wife and children in the Oyotún district, a zone where the population makes a living from agriculture, commerce and animal husbandry, located in the Chiclayo Province in the Lambayeque Region, in the north coast of Peru.

He makes a living from raising and selling small animals: ducks, hens, roosters, chickens and guinea pigs. He has done this for more than 10 years, with his business being located in the back of his home, where together with his wife they sell their animals, which are sold in the market and to the restaurants in their district.

Manuel is requesting a 2 000 nuevo soles loan for the purchase of balanced food for his animal farm.
