A loan helped to invest in re-stocking his business with grocery products such as rice, beans, sugar, milk, bread, eggs, cheese, matches, juice, and soft drinks.

Reynaldo's story

Reynaldo is 49 years old and single, with a son under his responsibility. He originally came from Sauce in the northern zone of the region. Reynaldo is hard-working, responsible, and has the desire for personal advancement.

Thanks to his efforts and desire to get ahead, Reynaldo's economic activity consists of a general store. It is small and sells grocery products in small quantities, including rice, beans, sugar, milk, bread, eggs, cheese, matches, juice, and soft drinks.

Reynaldo spends some 12 hours a day selling his products. The objective of this loan is to invest in his working capital to resupply his business, so that in the not very distant future, he will be able to obtain better income.

Reynaldo is grateful for Kiva investors who offer people of scarce resources in poor countries like Nicaragua a means of dignified work.
