Daba's Group's story

This group was set up in May 2010 and is made up of members who live in the same village. They all practise farming.

Soda, who is on the right of the photo with her hand raised, is in charge of the group. She is 50 years old, married and mother to five children.

She practises farming and also raises animals. She is planning on buying 200kg of groundnuts at 250 francs a kilo as well as a sheep for 25,000 francs.

With her profits she plans to provide for her family's needs, to boost her business and to help her son who is his last year at school.
