Sharofat's story

Sharofat H. was born in 1967, she is divorced. Since 1996 she has been running her own business. She is selling women's clothing on the wholesale market Kovron in Dushanbe. Her assortment consists of women's national pants with different types of hand-made embroidery and stitching, which she makes herself. She also sells ready-made fabric cuts for national dresses and pants made by Kockand. She buys the merchandise from wholesalers on the same market. With the help of Kiva, Sharofat wants to get a loan for 4,000 somoni ($1,175USD) to increase the variety of her merchandise.
