A loan of $575 helped to buy agricultural produce.

Medard's story

Medard is a male Ugandan, aged 28 years, married to Annet, and they have four children aged between 12 and 4.

Medard is a motorcycle taxi rider as his main source of income but he is also involved in the agricultural produce business and farming when it is the season. He does his businesses from a trading centre in Kibaale district.

Medard has approached Ugafode for a loan to invest in produce since it is the season. He hopes to pay back after making profits from the business. His dream is to acquire more motorcycles and have all his children educated to university level since he himself did not study much.

His main challenges include the poor road network which makes him spend a lot on repairs and delays transportation of his produce. He describes himself as hardworking and honest.
