Eugenia Audilia is a single adult with three adult children. She is from the municipality of Chinandega, located in the western part of the country. Eugenia is known for being a hard-working woman with a great desire to get ahead in life. She is the proprietor of a neighborhood store located in the house where she lives. In her store, she sells grocery products such as cooking oil, beans, rice, frozen foods, soft drinks, snacks, medications, cosmetics, and shampoo, among other items. She started her business with her own funds. She makes her purchases in cash from distributors and supply trucks in the municipality. She has both steady and occasional customers, who pay in cash and on credit. In the case of the credit customers, she collects payments each week. Eugenia opens the doors of her business very early in the morning in order to provide better service to her customers. The aim of this loan is to invest in her neighborhood store by purchasing frozen foods, rice, sugar, detergents, beans, and other products.
