Eugenia Audilia is a single adult with three adult children. She is from the municipality of Chinandega, located in the western part of the country. Eugenia is known for being a hard-working woman with a great desire to get ahead in life. She is the proprietor of a neighborhood store located in the house where she lives. In her store, she sells grocery products such as cooking oil, beans, rice, frozen foods, soft drinks, snacks, medications, cosmetics, and shampoo, among other items. She started her business with her own funds. She makes her purchases in cash from distributors and supply trucks in the municipality. She has both steady and occasional customers, who pay in cash and on credit. In the case of the credit customers, she collects payments each week. Eugenia opens the doors of her business very early in the morning in order to provide better service to her customers. The aim of this loan is to invest in her neighborhood store by purchasing frozen foods, rice, sugar, detergents, beans, and other products.
Eugenia Audilia mayor de edad soltera con tres hijos mayores de edad, originaria del municipio de chinandega ubicad en el occidente del país, Eugenia se caracteriza por ser una mujer luchadora con muchos de seos de superación personal, es propietaria de una pulperia ubicada en su casa de habitación el cual ofrece productos de consumo de abarroteria como: aceite, frijoles, azúcar, arroz, productos congelados,gaseosas golosinas, medicamentos, cosméticos, shampoo entre otros mas, inicia su negocio con fondos propios, sus compras las realiza al contado en distribuidoras y camiones proveedores del municipio, tiene clientes fijos y eventuales, los cuales da al contado y al crédito recuperando semanal, Eugenia desde muy temprano habré las puertas de su negocio para brindarles un mejor servicio a sus clientes, el objetivo de este crédito es para invertir en su pulperia en la compra de productos congelados, arroz, azúcar, detergentes, frijoles, entre otros.-

Fundación Leon 2000 began operations in 1993 as the first microfinance institution to serve the western part of Nicaragua, a country which continues to be one of the poorest in the western hemisphere. Fundación Leon 2000 works to further the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises through credit services and management, applying the best credit industry practices and technical expertise. Additionally, Fundación Leon manages several business and financial education programs in the community, specifically for young entrepreneurs and at-risk youth. Fundación Leon 2000’s group of experienced and dedicated employees works in 7 offices in Leon, Chinandega, Chichigalpa, Somotillo, Jinotepe, El Sauce, and Nagarote and serves several thousand clients (the majority of whom are women).
