A loan of $375 helped to buy foodstuff.

Isabel's story

Isabel is 61 years old and the mother of three children whom she loves very much. She lives in a home of her own with no one else. Isabel sells foodstuff such as rice, sugar, cooking oil, eggs, milk, condiments, plantains, and other things. She buys in quantity, whether that be by the package, sack, or box then resells them and makes a good profit. She set up a small store on her land and has had it for about three years. She hasn’t had any problems continuing her work since she began. She is very happy for having decided to start this work.

She is asking for a loan of S/1,000 and is very happy about the financial support so that she can continue ahead with her work. She is also committed to making her payments on time. She will use the money to buy things such as rice, sugar, vegetables, tubers, and grains.
