Amka Tujenge Group's story

The borrower, Nyakabinku, is an honest shopkeeper with 6 years of experience. He is the president and member of the «Amka Tujenge» business association and also a dynamic entrepreneur. He is the 48-year-old father to 7 children, 6 of which are receiving an education, the remaining child still being a boy. The borrower sells various spare vehicle parts and is a business partner in a garage. He displays his wares in a shop in the centre of town. He is requesting this loan from Hekima in order to grow his business. He plans to buy to buy 30 oil filters, 20 diesel filters and 40 oil dampers. He will start up his business with the funds received from private income. In the future, he wishes to increase his capital and become a wholesaler. He also wishes to clothe, feed and give his children an education. He would like to thank Hekima for their support of male and female entrepreneurs who are excluded from the established banking system by offering them loans, especially during this difficult period of conflict in the east of the country.
