Tania's story

Tania, 35, is separated and has three small children who live with her in her own house. Tania sells food and drink, such as rice, sugar, bread, milk, eggs, oil, condiments, vegetables and various drinks; along with other useful things such as school equipment and health products.

She has a small store in her house, where she serves customers from early in the morning. She offers quality products with a very friendly and polite service. She has been working on her own for five years. She believes that her business is profitable as it provides her with a good income. She likes her job because it leaves her with enough free time to be able to do other activities.

She tells us that the business is going very well at the moment because she is able to turn the products around more quickly. She is asking for a loan of 1800 nuevos soles to buy more products to sell in her shop, such as soft drinks, cold meats, rice and sugar.

She is very happy with the financial support offered to her which allows her to move her business forward. She is committed to paying off her loan on time.
