A loan of $3,000 helped to purchase a new, computerized sewing machine.

Rahbar's story

This is Rahbar. She is a cute, kind, sympathetic, and active woman. Rahbar raised three children and set them on their own two feet. Her husband works as a television security guard, and her son went abroad for work. She and her husband, daughter-in-law, and grandson live in the city of Khujand. The name "Rahbar" means "head" or "leader." She worked for 20 years as a teacher in school - she loves children and always provides them with help in their difficult moments. Now she pays special attention to raising her grandson. Rahbar, in addition to working at the school, also sews dresses. Rahbar dedicated 25 years of her life to sewing and tailoring. She likes to spend her time around her sewing machine - Rahbar loves to sew new dresses and new styles and types of dresses. Rahbar has an old sewing machine and decided to purchase a new one so that she could complete her work sooner, begin new dresses quicker, and improve the quality of her work. She does not, however, have enough money to purchase a new sewing machine, and is therefore asking you to help her.
