Djiparkhan's story

Djiparkhan is 44 years old, unmarried, and is raising a son by herself. Djiparkhan has a secondary education. Djiparkhan's work in farming and animal husbandry, which began 10 years ago with 20,000 KGS, is the main source of income for her family. Thanks to Djiparkhan's hard work, she now has 1 milk cow, 4 sheep, and also 1.04 hectares of land, on which she raises potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions for consumption and for sale. In addition to this, Djiparkhan bakes bread, which she sells in local grocery stores. Her monthly income is 10,000 KGS. With the goal of furthering her business, Djiparkhan turned to the bank "Bai-Tushum" for a loan to purchase vegetable seeds for planting and fertilizer for soil cultivation. With the income she earns from her loan, Djiparkhan plans to save toward increasing the number of cattle she has, and also plans to save towards construction of a small pavilion where she can sell baked goods.
