She has worked as a hair stylist for 13 years. She studied hairstyling and accounting and began her career working at her family's business as an accountant. She worked for many years at the family company, but while she was working there, her mind was still on hairdressing.
After her workplace was destroyed in an earthquake, she lost her job and had a difficult time. She worked in her cousin's beauty salon, which her cousin wanted to pass on. Her husband, knowing she liked hairdressing, surprised her by buying and giving her the salon. He told Leyla, "Now this place is yours."
After taking over the salon, she adding a waxing room, updated the furniture and added personal care (hair and skin care). She is pleased with the state of the salon now. She will buy supplies for the salon with the loan from Maya. She is satisfied with her work, she says. Now she aims to train her employees and teach them the business, profession and business ownership.
