Doris's story

Doris B. is 43 years old. She's a wife and the mother of two children. Her children are currently in school. To support her household, she has been selling foodstuffs such as maize, plantains, beans, cassava and palm kernel oil for the past eight years in the neighborhood to her loyal customers.



Doris says selling these products is very lucrative and therefore she wants to expand her inventory to enable her to make good income to support her family. Doris is a member of the group called Isaiah Trust Group. Members agree to guarantee for each other as social collateral and assist one another to repay the loan.
