A loan of $850 helped to buy a new, modern sewing machine in order to start her own sewing business.

Javlon's story

Javlon is a married, 41 year-old woman. Her husband and oldest son are abroad and involved in carpentry there. Her youngest son and daughter live with Javlon in the Pyandj district and attend a school. Javlon is an energetic and active woman. She knows the seamstress profession and is just starting her sewing business. Javlon can cut and sew national women's dresses. Previously, she sewed for herself, but now wants to open her own business and earn a living. Javlon will accept orders at home, but her sewing machine has gotten old. She is requesting this loan to buy a new, modern sewing machine in order to provide her service.
