Martha's story

Martha, 46 years old, lives in Saclepea City in Nimba County, which is rich in natural resources. The living conditions there are much better than in the capital city of Liberia and it is the second largest populated county in Liberia. She is married to a tailor and they have five children who are presently attending school. She started her business with a little money from her older sister. For three years now, she been running a table where she sells onions, rice, palm oil, vita, pepper, salt etc. She spends eight hours per day on her business. One problem she faces is her small income. She is requesting a loan to purchase more onions, rice, palm oil, vita, pepper, salt etc for her business. Her dream is to one day open a shop.
