A loan of $1,125 helped to pay for calamansi scent (Panama orange), other ingredients, and bottles needed for her business.

Benilda's story

Benilda is thankful for the financial assistance extended to her. She was able to buy the needed things for her business. Her income from business is assisting her everyday household expenditures. She and her husband are working hard to provide for their everyday needs. She also has a reloading station for additional income.

Benilda would like to apply for another loan of 50,000 PHP to buy calamansi scent (Panama orange), other ingredients and bottles needed for her business. More items to sell will result in a better profit. Her profits from business will definitely help sustain her family’s daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Benilda hopes to be more successful in business and dreams that her family will experience a good life. She meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her life and business every week, and to draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
