Khaled is a 42-year-old, married man from a small village, near Khanyounis city. He lives with his wife and five children, four sons and one daughter, in a small, simple house. Khaled works as an employee in the public sector, where he gets a low income. He also works as a farmer on his land where they plant seasonal fruits and vegetables, using greenhouses to ensure they have good quality.
Khaled took a USD loan from Palestine for Credit & Development (FATEN). This loan will help him to buy fertilizer for his farm. By taking this loan, Khaled can improve his farm, increase his productivity, and also improve the family's living conditions. Khaled appears in the photo, on his farm.
