Tatu's story

Mambo from Tanzania! This is 38-year-old Tatu B. from Dar es salaam. She is married with three children between the ages of 2 and 18, and is also responsible for supporting one dependent who is an orphan. Tatu operates a cosmetics and African traditional cloth businesses eight hours per day, seven days a week, earning a monthly income of about $200.



She is now requesting a loan of $275 in order to buy additional cosmetics and traditional African food. In the future, she plans to establish another business.
