Tupendane Kongowe Group's story

Khadija, who is in her early 30s is married and has three children, two of whom go to school. The last child is still small. She has been selling mattresses from different companies since 1997. She works from 8 am to 6 pm daily and is able to make a good monthly profit.

This will be Khadija's 17th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to buy mattresses of different types and sizes. She has paid back all her loans successfully. She used the profit to buy a plot of land, pay school fees, and buy a sofa set, a TV set, and beds. She also covered household expenses. She is doing fine with the loan. She will use this loan to buy more mattresses to resell. She dreams of having a very big mattresses company.

Khadija will share this loan with her loan group "Tupendane Kongowe" which has three members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
