Sandra Elizabeth's story

Sandra, 35, has a family which consists of her only son and her husband. Her son is 14 and attends school. He is in his first year of high school. Her husband is bedridden due to an accident that caused damage to his spine, leaving him unable to walk.

Sandra has had her own small general store for 10 years. At a very young age, she learned to work from her parents. She only managed to reach her seventh years of basic education. Since her husband's accident, her family has relied on her to support the family which she has done humbly. She has her shop in which she sells basic food products and she uses her profits to feed her son and her husband.

Sandra wants to continue with the business in her shop but she would like to stock more products, have a little more income, and avoid taking her son out of school. She believes this goal can only be reached with her loan. She knows she cannot work outside the home because of her very ill husband but her stocked store can have higher profits which will allow her to repay her loan and send her child to school.

Sandra's dream is to expand her business and have more products to sell. She wants her child to be a professional, a goal she could not achieve. She has the dream that this life and be achieved with her loan and her trust in God.
