Bazarkul's story

Bazarkul is 40 years old, married and raising three children together with her husband. Bazarkul has secondary education. As a main income for her family, Bazarkul works with livestock breeding and field crop cultivation, after having started 14 years ago with the purchase of livestock for 8,000 som (KGS). Thanks to Bazarkul's persistent work, her farm currently has five dairy cows and 10 sheep. She also processes 0.90 hectares of land, on which she grows sweet corn and cotton. In addition, Bazarkul has a food stall at the local market, where she prepares and sells dishes from the oriental kitchen. The total monthly income is 10,000 som (KGS). With an aim to further develop her business, Bazarkul turned to the bank "Bai Tushum & Partners" for a loan to purchase sheep to increase the number of livestock. Bazarkul plans to invest the income from the loan in further increasing the number of livestock. She also plans to save money for the future education of her children.
