This is 42-year-old Praxeda M. from Dar es Salaam. She is married with 3 children, between the ages of 9 and 16. Praxeda has been running a snacks business since 2003. She prepares snacks such as chapati and sells them to people around her area.. She works at the business for 5 hours per day, 6 days per week and she is assisted by two employees. Praxeda R Mkandalara currently earns about $200 from her business. She is requesting a loan of $875 in order to buy wheat flower, cooking oil and other raw material for making snacks. In the future, she plans to renovate her business building and to establish a new business.
