A loan of $1,600 helped to buy farming supplies.

María Isabel's story

The Nuevos Horizonte credit group is located in the “24 De Mayo” area of the Manabí province. This area is known for its beautiful landscapes and hardworking people dedicated to agriculture and raising livestock.

Maria lives here. She is 36 years old, in a common law marriage, and has three children, ages 13, 11, and 5. The oldest attends high school and the two younger ones attend school. Her husband is a farmer.

Maria is a wonderful mother and wife who is asking for this loan so that her husband can use it in his business. He is a farmer and raises corn, peanuts, and vegetables. He needs money to buy seeds, insecticides, and pay for labor. She, herself, has a small chicken coop and raises chickens. This is how they struggle so that their children will not be in need of anything.

This loan is to buy seeds and chicken feed. This will be her fifth cycle and she is happy about the loans. Her dream is to provide the best for her children.
