A loan of $1,500 helped to buy meat in bulk.

Victoria's story

Victoria is 24 years old and makes a living selling meat and odds and ends. She has stall in the Buenos Aires area of El Alto. This is Victoria's first loan with the communal bank and she will use it to buy merchandise (meat) in bulk. During this carnival season there is a lot of demand for meat so she is applying for a loan. Victoria is facing challenges such as competition as, at this time of year, everybody works selling this product. Victoria will use her profits to expand her business by buying a freezer to keep the meat in good condition. Victoria's wish for her business is to be a meat wholesaler.
