A loan of $200 helped to buy two more bicycles for use in transportation of passengers for more income.

Richard's story

Richard is 31 years old from Nakuru. He is married to Mary and they are blessed with two children aged 11 and 8 who are attending school.

Richard is in the transport business. He uses his bicycle to ferry his customers for a fee.

To enable him to buy two more bicycles for increased income, he has applied for his second loan of 16,500 KES from VisionFund Kenya. His monthly income right now is 10,000 KES and he hopes to use the anticipated profits from his expanded business to pay his loan to VisionFund, educate his children, and start a business for his spouse.

In the future, Richard hopes to buy a rickshaw.
