Mamie's story

Mamie is 45 years old. Mamie and her fiancee live in Congo Town, Montserrado County, which has the largest port and is the number one commercial county in Liberia. Her fiancee is a carpenter and they have four children between the ages of 13 and 26. Only one of them attends school and two of them live at home.

Since 2010, Mamie has been selling used clothes in her community market, but presently, she is selling fried fish, plantains, sweet potatoes, doughnuts, etc. Sometimes, she has less customers, but most of the time, she makes a lot of money.

She is requesting a loan to purchase more fish, plantains, potatoes, flour, etc. for her business.

In the future, Mamie plans to send her children to school, until they finish college.
