Sashik, 21, lives with his parents in Goris town. Despite his young age, he has been keeping animals for five years. Sashik keeps 80 sheep and 10 chickens. Livestock breeding is the only source of the family's income. Realizing this, Sashik has applied for this loan to be able to increase the number of sheep by 20. The loan is important for this young farmer and his family as it's a good opportunity to continue their livestock breeding activities.

As this is Sashik's first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who didn’t have access to credit products before because they have no credit history.
