A loan of $1,775 helped a member to buy four local piglets.

Sari Maju Group's story

The Sari Maju group from West Bali would like to thank lenders for their support. Ni Komang, the group head, purchased three piglets with her loans for fattening and she was able to sell them. At the end of the loan period, Ni Komang sold her pigs, yielding a respectable profit. With her profits, and with the help of a new loan from MUK, she plans to purchase additional pigs. With the overall increase in household income, she has supported the daily needs of her family, saving and renovating her kitchen.

Ni Komang with the Sari Maju group decided to continue borrowing from MUK since it is especially helpful in developing pig businesses. This loan will be used to buy four local piglets and pig feed. Local piglets are sold for pigroll and Ni Komang hopes this business will go well. She still has a dream to renovate her house.
