Ella se dedica a la elaboración y venta de bisutería (artículos elaborados con mostacilla) lo cual vende tanto en el mercado de su comunidad como a los turistas que visitan los lugares cercanos a su comunidad (Panajachel); esta actividad la aprendió desde muy pequeña ayudando a sus amigas a elaborar los artículos que hoy en día vende. A través de esta actividad que es muy demandada y con buenos precios ella obtiene los ingresos que necesita para cubrir los gastos personales y familiares. Tiene 24 años realizando esta actividad.
Ella quiere mejorar el nivel de vida de su familia por lo cual está solicitando un préstamo de Q 3,000.00 para compra de materiales de construcción para mejorar su vivienda.

ADICLA (Association for the Holistic Development of the Basin of Lake Atitlán) is nonprofit rural community development association that provides small loans and services to improve quality of life in two of the poorest regions of Guatemala, home to large indigenous populations. Kiva funding will be used to support three innovative credit initiatives: youth business loans, green loans, and smaller loans to help ADICLA move down-market and serve poorer clients.
