Meet 32-year-old Mariama from Masuba northern area in Sierra Leone. She is married with three children.
In 2007, Mariama established her retail business. She is a shopkeeper; she began her business because she was motivated by her colleague to run her personal business. She works at the business 12 hours per day, 6 days per week. She says that the main challenge to her business is a poor road network towards her area of operation.
Mariama requires a loan to purchase cigarettes, drinks and soap to expand her business.
She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to pay her children's school fees and increase her business.
In the future, Mariama plans to expand her business beyond expectations. She thanks you for your support.
