A loan of $575 helped she will invest in the purchase of groceries (rice, sugar, oil, milk, etc.).

Rocio's story

La señora Rocío belongs to the community bank "La Lupuna," located in the Jr. Las Violetas 8 MzC Lt:1 AA.HH., La Lupuna, district of Yarinacocha, department of Ucayali. She is 41 years of age and is the mother of two minor children who still depend on her. She is married and her husband works in land transportation, driving a "motokar" (three-wheeled motorized form of transport). With the first loan of S/.300 that she received from Manuela Ramos, she decided to invest in the sale of groceries.

Currently, she has a store in her home and has the desire to continue working.

With this loan of S/.1,700 ($575), one which will be repaid in 5 months, she will invest in the purchase of groceries like one sack of rice, one sack of sugar, one package of oil, one box of small and large milk, salt, one package of beans, one bag of detergent and others.

Rocío expresses that Manuela Ramos is such a help for her as it is for all those hard-working women.
