Nargis is 45-year-old lady, living with her spouse and three children in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. She is a responsible mother. Her daughter has reached the age of marriage and Nargis wants to save so that she can arrange a dowry for her daughter. It seems impossible in the absence of a profitable source of income.

Nargis's two sons have been driving auto rickshaws for many years. Their incomes are insufficient to feed their own families. Both of her sons have to maintain the auto rickshaws but they do not have sufficient funds to do this. Therefore, Nargis requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan so her sons can fix their rickshaws and cherish their families.
