John Jairo's story

This is John Jairo. He has been a person with dreams ever since he was a little boy. His life was full of financial problems. His mother, a beautiful woman who fought hard to bring up her children at great personal sacrifice, remembers that when John was 5 she worked at Las Florez. In order to make a few more pesos she prepared food to bring to the market and sell at lunchtime. He got up very early with his mom and watched her prepare the food and many times he even helped.

That was when he began to enjoy everything about cooking and he always liked being in the kitchen. All his life he has wanted to study everything about cooking; learn all the standard techniques and recipes of all kinds. This is why he wants to study with CampoAlto and begin his career as an excellent professional in the kitchen. One day he hopes to be a great professional and an excellent chef with a chain of well-known restaurants where everyone leaves with a smile on their face after enjoying a meal prepared by John.

He had heard about the agreement with Kiva and he thought it was a good opportunity to pay less and improve his income. He also thinks it is worthwhile because many students don't have the financial means to pay the normal price for tuition.
