Aida's story

Aida is 28 years old, single and lives with her parents. Aida has a secondary education. To provide the primary income for her family, Aida is involved in animal husbandry, having started 9 years ago with a purchase of livestock with 20,000 som (KGS). Thanks to Aida's hard work, today her business contains 2 dairy cows and 3 sheep. She is additionally involved in reselling vegetables. She sells them at a wholesale market and resells to retail customers. Aida is very diligent because her parents were involved in animal husbandry for a long time and they got Aida to love hard work and animals. The monthly income amounts to 10,000 som (KGS). In order to further develop her business, Aida requested a loan from the microfinance bank "Bai-Tushum and Partners" to buy sheep in order to increase livestock headcount. Aida plans to invest the earnings from the loan into further increasing domestic livestock quantities and saving money to open a small pavilion for selling vegetables.
