Bobonazar is 33 years old. He is from the Shahrituz region. Shahrituz is a rural region of Tajikistan that has preseverd its 1000-year old culture and customs. Bobonazar is a local who respects the culture and traditions of his people. You can see this by the way he is dressed. He is wearing a “joma” (a traditional men’s robe made of pressed cotton). In villages and hamlets around Tajikistan, people still wear “joma”. It protects both from the cold and, in warm weather from the heat.

Bobonazar, like the generations before him, is a farmer. He has learned this work from his father. Bobonazar grows produce. But at present he would like also to raise livestock. This will allow him to earn a bigger income and he will be able to spend the winter usefully. His funds are insufficient to buy livestock, which is why he is turning to you for help. Please help him!
