A loan of $1,075 helped to buy a sewing machine and sewing materials, such as fabrics, thread, and other things.

Lucy's story

Lucy is 59 years old, divorced, and lives with her 24-year-old daughter in her own home. Lucy sews for a living, which she learned after studying at an occupational education center. She then bought a sewing machine with her savings and set it up in her own home. This is where she attends to her customers, who seek her out because of her good finished products, which have earned her their acceptance and a regular clientele. She likes her business because she likes sewing, in addition to the good earnings it provides her. She is currently requesting 3,000 soles. She is thankful for the financial help she is receiving, which is why she promises to make her payments on time.

She will invest the requested amount in the purchase of a sewing machine and with the remainder she plans to buy sewing materials, such as fabrics, thread, and other things.
