Tene is the leader of the Yamb Yel Benewende group. She is going well. Married, she is a mother of four children. The eldest is 23 years old and the youngest is ten years old. Three of the children go to school.

Tene has worked preparing food (beans) and selling condiments for ten years. She procures her goods from a market in her area. Her customers are women, men, and children.

She wants to save her earnings. She hopes to one day buy herself a motorcycle and take better care of her children.
